ROMSPEN RESPONSES TO SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS
May 2, 2020 -- Preserve Vistoso urges you to view the April 30 Oro Valley video produced to give us answers to some of the more than 1,000 questions we sent to the Town, click here.
Michael Spaeth, Oro Valley Planning and Zoning, provides an overview of the process and the proposed Romspen request for a revision to the 2016 voter-approved Oro Valley General Plan and rezoning of 87 acres of the former Vistoso Golf Course. Linda Morales, The Planning Center, and Peter Oelbaum, Romspen’s Managing Partner, participate in the video. Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Director Kristy Diaz-Trahan also shares information on the Town’s plan to prioritize community investments in the Town’s currently owned facilities. Those facilities are not in Rancho Vistoso, but in the central part of Town.
After viewing the April 30 video, please continue sending your questions and concerns to and CopyPreserveVistoso@gmail.com. If you’d like to have additional input into the Parks and Recreation study and the plans shared by Director Kristy, you can send your comments to http://www.planyourparksov.com/participate/ (see "Your Comments" at the bottom of the page.)
