The members of the Board of Directors have been chosen for their skills and dedication to the establishing the property as a nature preserve and community trail. Many are experts in fields vital to the preservation of open space in our community. They are your neighbors and represent you in decisions made by Preserve Vistoso.
Officers

Gayle Mateer - President - Fairfield
Gayle Mateer has over 35 years experience in information technology and was a global head of information systems for several Fortune 500 companies, including Pfizer, Microsoft and eBay. Gayle splits her time between Rancho Vistoso and the Pacific Northwest. While in Arizona she volunteers at Tohono Chul, a non-profit botanical garden and art gallery in Tucson. Gayle is Chair of the Fundraising Committee.

Craig MacKay- Vice President- Fairfield
Craig MacKay is a semi-retired entrepreneur, developer and business owner having owned businesses in Building Materials Manufacturing and Distribution for over 30 years. He currently splits his time between Rancho Vistoso and the Pacific Northwest.

Michael Bilodeau- Secretary - Cortona
Michael has been working in the Software Development and Security industry for the past 25 years as a developer, manager, and consultant. He has been a resident of Rancho Vistoso since September 2018.

Rick London - Treasurer - Stone Canyon Enclave
Former CEO of an information technology company focused on software and hardware design for small and medium-sized businesses. Recently retired regional vice president of a large registered investment adviser. We moved from Minnesota to Oro Valley in late May 2018 and spend summers in Wisconsin on the edge of Lake Superior.
Directors

Gerald Bren - Director - Somerset Canyon
Gerald retired after a 40 year career managing mutual funds and trust accounts for Nuveen Investment and US Bank. He has experience investing in a wide range of stocks as well as in private placement properties. He and his wife Karen moved to Vistoso in 2013. He and Karen spend the summer months in Minnesota. Gerald serves on the board of a grant making Foundation in the St Paul, Minnesota area since retiring eight years ago.

Raymond Barth - Director - Summit South
Chair of Nature Preserve and Community Trail Task Force. Ray Barth retired from a career in Information Technology in roles ranging from software developer, project manager and corporate management primarily in the Insurance and Retail industries. He and his wife moved from Chicago to the Phoenix area in 1997 and became residents of Rancho Vistoso in 2017.

Terry Hart – Director – Summit South
Terry retired in 2015 after 34 years in the Coatings Industry working in management, sales, marketing, legal contracts, and operations positions. He has also been involved establishing multiple educational scholarships and a 501(c)(3) supporting youth and adult sports. Terry and his wife moved from Missouri and became permanent residents of Rancho Vistoso in 2016.

Roy Hoff - Director - Fairfield
Roy Hoff's background is in pharmaceutical sciences, where he was CEO of a medical startup that was acquired by Teva Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Hoff has served on private and public company boards as well as two different HOA boards in various capacities. He has been a resident of Rancho Vistoso for 18 years.

Dave Kozloff - Director - Vistoso Golf Casitas
Dave is an attorney in private practice in Pennsylvania, in civil litigation, corporations and estate planning. Served on boards of business entities and non-profit organizations for over fifty years. Seasonal resident at Resort Casitas since 2004.

Bill Murray - Director - Stone Village
Bill has been a resident of Oro Valley for four years, splitting his time there with summers in New Hampshire. His professional experience focused on the banking industry as a banker, consultant and founder of a software development company for banks. He has been a Board member and President to two HOAs, Co-Chairman of a successful church capital campaign, and Board member of the United Way of Southeastern New England.

Jennifer Seaman - Director - Somerset Canyon
Jennifer has been a resident of the Vistoso Community for twelve years since moving to the area from Kansas City. A former executive in the medical device industry, she has extensive Project Management and Leadership experience. Having a strong love of the outdoors, Jennifer brings a strong passion for preserving and protecting the environment.

David Smoler - Director - Stonegate (Stone Canyon)
A retired electrical engineer, he has owned part or all of several Silicon Valley electronic companies and participated hands-on in all aspects. In Sun City, he served on Elections, Properties, Documentation Revision, and Restaurant Renovation Committees. He is a prize-winning photographer and PhotoShop "mechanic." While living in California, he served as president of a small HOA and private water company. David's Rancho Vistoso residence began in 2006 in Sun City and presently lives in the Stone Gate neighborhood of Stone Canyon.

Pat Sturmon - Director - Summit South
Chair of Communications Committee. Pat has more than 35 years experience as a Public Relations executive in Chicago and retired as Director of Public Relations for Motorola’s North America group. She served on Boards of several nonprofits in Chicago, including Board Chair of the Girl Scouts of Chicago. She was a member of the Oro Valley Historical Preservation Commission and served on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona and was co-chair for Youth on Their Own Fundraising dinners. Pat and her husband, Dan, live in CenterPointe.

Steve Wallace – Director- Stonegate (Stone Canyon)
Steve is a retired physician who worked as an anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist. He is also an attorney specializing in medical malpractice. Steve has served on the boards of a hospital and an outpatient surgery center. A member of the Medical Reserve Corps of Southern Arizona, he moved to Oro Valley four years ago.
